Jamalpur RAB 14 has recovered 21 metric tonne rice of the food-friendly program from a readers’ house in Sarishabari of Jamalpur while they are black marketing.
The rice was recovered from the houses of Mojibar Rahman and Kabir Hossain at Pingna Bazar in Pingna Union of the upazila on Wednesday.
Jamalpur RAB-14 Commander MM Sabuj Rana said based on a secret information, we raided the rice godown of Mojibur Rahman and Kabir Hossain at Pingna Bazar in Pingna Union of the upazila.
At that time, 21 metric tonne rice of the food-friendly program was reserved from their houses, he added.
A case is going to be filed against the traders with Sarishabari police station, said he.
