OC exchanged views with the journalists

A meeting was held at Sarishabari in Jamalpur with Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Md. Fazlul Karim to exchange views with the journalists of Sarisabari Press Club.

The meeting was held at the office of the officer-in-charge of the police station on Tuesday morning where all of the journalists of Sarishabari Press Club were present.

During the exchange of views, OC Abu Md. Fazlul Karim said that overall development of the society is possible if the police-journalists maintain mutual relations. Both police and journalists are friends of the people and both work for the betterment of the society. I want to work as a friend of the people. In this case, I want everyone’s cooperation. We especially want the cooperation of journalists. The role of journalists in the development of society is very undeniable . We want to build Sarishabari Thana as a model thana with the cooperation of journalists and all people.

He also added that Sarishabari upazila will be drugs free upazila, proper action will be taken if we get any information.
