A big rally was held in Jamalpur’s Sarishabari Upazila, seeking nomination from Awami League.
The rally was organized by the Sarishabari Upazila Awami family on Friday at Alin Trade Centre ground in the Sarishabari municipality area.
About 20 thousand leaders and activists participated in the mass meeting.
Former organizational commander of Sarishabari Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad freedom fighter Md. Abdul Hamid presided over the meeting.
Vice President of Sarishabari Upazila Awami League candidate for boat nomination Anisur Rahman Alin was present as the chief guest in the meeting.
Alin delivered his speech before the procession, seeking votes for boat in the upcoming election. 
Apart from, Kamrabad Union Awami League General Secretary Shahin Miah, Sarishabari Upazila 71 Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee President Dr. AFM Shahan Shah Molla, Abdur Razzak, Abdul Aziz, Women Affairs Secretary of Upazila Awami League Tahmina Akhtar Bithi, BTV District Correspondent Mustafa Babul were also present in the meeting.
