An opinion exchange meeting on online land development tax pay was held with all UP members of the unions of Chitalmari in Bagerhat. The meeting was held at 4 pm on Sunday at the BRDB seminar hall at the initiative of the Upazila Administration.
During the exchange of views, Upazila Nirbahi Officer(UNO) Md. Liton Ali presented various instructions of the Ministry of Land to the public representatives to alleviate the harassment of the people, stop irregularities and corruption and collect government revenue.
He further said that from now on, in order to pay land development tax online, the land owner has to first register by providing other information including national identity card and mobile number. Once registered, the person does not have to re-register. At that time he answered various questions of the UP members. At the same time, he requested the UP members to make the public aware of this issue.
