Mujibur Rahman Mollah, a heroic freedom fighter of Chitalmari upazila of Bagerhat, was laid to eternal rest with state honor on Wednesday.
A smart police team led by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Jannatul Afroz Swarna conferred the guard of honor to the Freedom Fighter Mujibur Rahman Mollah on Wednesday (February 3).
Inspector (Investigation) of Chitalmari Police Station Md Ikramul Haque, freedom fighter Akram Hossain were present at the time.
Md. Mujibur Rahman Mollah, a heroic freedom fighter of Rahmatpur village in Kalatla union of the upazila, died at his home on Tuesday night. At the time of his death, he left behind his wife, 2 sons and 4 daughters including many well-wishers and relatives.
