Workshop on key rights relating to child provision held in Tangail

A workshop with Community-based organizations (CBOs) & Civil Society members was held on key rights relating to child provision in Ghatail upazila in Tangail on Wednesday.

World Concern Bangladesh arranged the workshop at Momraj Golgonda Pablic High School at Jamutiea Union in Ghatail, Tangail aiming to raise awareness in this regard.

The event was organized under Breaking Barriers for Children (BBC-2) Project for CBO & Civil Society members where local government representatives & community Leaders were present.

Momraj Golgonda Public High School Head Master Md. Abdus Hamid presided over the program.

Speaking at the event, Md Abdus Hamid said “Everybody should ensure child rights from his/her own position for the better future of our children.”

Attending the event as special guest, Most. Hosneara Parvin, Women Empowerment Officer BRAC Ghatail, Tangail, said “Good parenting skills will be very helpful for children’s growth and development.”

Mr. James Sunny Bairagee, Program Officer, World Concern Bangladesh, said “All must work together to ensure child rights and this is our moral responsibilities to create safe and secure environment for our children.”
