Sanitary latrines materials were distributed among 100 poor families in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur district on Monday afternoon. Rings, Slabs and other materials of hygienic latrines were distributed by the upazila parishad.
On the occasion, a distribution program was organized at upazila parishad ground. Upazila chairman S.M.A Warez Naeem handed over the hygienic latrine materials to the head of the poor family of the upazila.
Sub-Assistant Engineer Rafiqul Islam, Upazila AL member Abdullah Al Mamun Sabuj and other leaders of upazila and union AL, local dignitaries and journalist of different media were present.
Upazila chairman S.M.A Warez Naeem said that the present government is working relentlessly for the people. As part of this, hygienic latrines materials were distributed through the upazila administration to solve the health problems in the poor families of the upazila.
