Relief has been distributed among the Imam and Moazzims in Chitalmari in courtesy of local MP Sheikh Helal Uddin and managed by Santoshpur UP Chairman Beauty Akter.
The relief aid was provided to 100 people at 11 am on Thursday, April 22 at the premises of Kaliganj and Kathipara Government Primary Schools in Santoshpur Union. Relief items include 26 kgs of goods including rice, chira, sugar, oil, potatoes, salt, onions, pulses and gram.
Among others Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Liton Ali, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Shariful Haque, former UP Chairman Alhaj Mozammel Hawladar and Santoshpur UP Chairman Beauty Akhter were present in the relief distribution program. The guests present during the relief distribution advised everyone to follow the hygiene rules and government guidelines during this corona pandemic.
