U.S. condemns political violence in Dhaka

The Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) of the United States of America on Saturday condemned the political violence in Dhaka.

The SCA in a twit message said “The United States condemns today’s political violence in Dhaka. We call for calm and restraint on all sides and will review all violent incidents for possible visa restrictions.”

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka in a separate statement said it is unacceptable as is “violence against civilians, including journalists.”

The U.S. Mission in Dhaka also said that “We will be reviewing all violent incidents for possible visa restrictions.”
