The Department of Pharmacy of the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), arranged a day long “Pharma Fest 2022” recently in the campus aiming to inspire students in research activities during and after completion their study.
Mr. AI Islam, Chairman, Board of Trustees, USTC, was present as the Chief Guest at the event held on 27th June 2022. 
During his speech at the Pharma Fest, Mr. AI Islam said “This kind of scientific session provides a platform for students and researchers to carry out collaborative research between different disciplines.”
As a guest of honor, Vice Chancellor, USTC Prof. Engr. Dr. Jahangir Alam and special guests Dr. Sheikh Mahsheed Noor, Member, Governing body (IAHS) and Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurul Absar were present. Mr. AI Islam, Chairman, BOT unwrapped the first issue of Pharma Research Bulletin in this occasion.
In the Keynote session Mr. Motiar Rahman, Executive Director, Quality Assurance, Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Limited and ABM Faroque, Advisor, Department of Pharmacy, USTC delivered their valuable speeches regarding ‘Quality operations in Pharmaceutical Industry’ and ‘National Drug Policy’. 
Pharma Olympiad and poster exhibition was also performed at the Pharma Fest. Students from different universities in Chattogram division got opportunity to showcase their research work. The program was ended with a cultural program performed by students of Pharmacy Department of USTC.
Along with convener of this program Mr. Abdul Motaleb Bhuiya, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy all the faculty members and students were actively present to make this program successful.
