The ‘Dream Lighter International Annual Conference 2021’ was held at Marriot Hotel Grand Ballroom in New York, USA recently. ‘Dream Lighter’ is an international human welfare organization which earns money running some businesses in New York to help poor kids, women and other distressed people in various countries.
The conference was held on Nov 30 from evening to midnight. A 9-member conference organizing committee led by Faizul Farhad supervised it. Other members were Mahabub Hossain Biplob, Shamsuddin Sheikh Nantu, Abu Taher, Zubayer Hossain, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Murad Rahman, Khondoker Robi and Rassel Mia. The event was patronized by Dream Lighter’s Director of Finance Abul Hayat, Director of Marketing Iqbal H Ansary and Chief Adviser Main Uddin Ahmed.
Shamsuddin Sheikh Nantu, Advocate MM Nuruzzaman, and Md Abul Hayat delivered introductory speech at the function. Chief Adviser Main Uddin Ahmed spoke on the process how Dream Lighter coordinates businesses & humanitarian services of the organization internationally which is registered as a non-profit business house in New York.
D M Sabuj, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dream Lighter presented a full-length pictorial presentation on the activities of the organization. He also elaborately described future workplan for Dream Lighter which is destined to open offices in more countries and provide more facilities for its members.
Four persons were given Achievment Award at the conference for their brilliant roles played for development of Dream Lighter. They are Md Hashem, Anisur Rahman, Hussain Biplob and AKM Ruhul Kuddus. Winners of the quiz competition of previous conference were also given prizes at the conference. This year’s talent hunt winners will be given prizes at a function to be organized soon.
Attending members of the conference were served with dinner.
The conference was concluded with the songs of popular singer Baby Naznin. Khandokar Robi also offered songs at the function.
Sonia presented the whole program and famous ‘Sound Gear’ team served the music.
