Under the initiative of Bagerhat-2 MP Sheikh Sarhan Naser Tanmoy and under the overall supervision of the district BCL, the leaders of Chitalmari Upazila BCL will deliver the oxygen cylinder to the patient’s house through phone call.
From now on, Chitalmari Upazila Chhatra League is providing Oxygen Bank service under the program “Call hot line, oxygen will reach your home”.
Chitalmari Upazila Awami League President Md. Babul Hossain Khan inaugurated the Oxygen Bank program at the Upazila Awami League office at 4pm on Monday (July 5).
Among others, Robin Hira, General Secretary of Upazila BCL and Coordinator of Oxygen Bank Chitalmari, Limon Khan, Joint General Secretary, Md. Masum Billah, President of Sadar Union BCL and other BCL leaders and workers were also present in the inaugural program. 
In this regard, the President of Chitalmari Upazila Chhatra League Md. Riazul Islam Riyad Munshi said, in view of the extreme deterioration of the Corona situation, this is the most necessary life-saving step for the people of Chitalmari under the overall cooperation and guidance of Bagerhat Sadar MP Sheikh Sarhan Naser Tanmoy. Many lives will be saved through emergency and rapid oxygen service under this outstanding program, he said.
