With the inspiration and direction of Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chitalmari Model Thana A.H.M. Kamruzzaman Khan, the Chitalmari police has taken an exceptional initiative.
Under a unique initiative, the police have greeted all the motorcyclists wearing helmets with valid documents and face masks. At the same time, various steps have been taken to create awareness among those who are riding motor bikes without valid documents, helmets and face masks.
On Saturday (June 12) from 10 am to noon, led by the new Officer-in-Charge(OC) of Chitalmari Police Station A.H.M. Kamruzzaman Khan, a team of police organized a floral greeting on the road adjacent to the Central Shaheed Minar in Chitalmari. At that time, more than a hundred motorbike riders with valid documents, helmets and face masks were given a tuberose stick each. Many people from different walks of life have been inspired as they have applauded the exceptional initiative of the police.
Officer-in-Charge of the police station A.H.M. Kamruzzaman Khan said the main goal of such exceptional thinking or initiatives is to inspire all motorcyclists to ride motorcycles legally. We are inspiring everyone to ride a motorbike legally by wishing them with flowers. Even then, legal action will be taken against those who do not follow the rules, he added.
