A mobile outlet has been inaugurated in front of the Nakla Upazila Livestock Office in Nakla Upazila of Sherpur under the joint venture of Ministry of Livestock, Department of Livestock and Bangladesh dairy farmers association for buying and selling animal nutrients including milk, eggs and meat at fair prices.
Upazila Livestock Officer (ULO) Dr Md Abdul Ahad inaugurated the Mobile sales center.
During the inauguration, the speakers said that such an initiative has been taken so that the farmers can sell animal nutrients including milk, eggs and meat at fair prices so as not to incur losses during the Corona period.
The Ministry of Livestock, the Department of Livestock and the Bangladesh dairy farmers association have taken up such a program to ensure that the consumers get the required animal nutrition at their door.
ULO Dr Md Abdul Ahad hopes that this activity will continue throughout the Corona period and month of Ramadan. The leaders of Nakla Upazila branch of Udyogata and Dairy farmers association sought the cooperation of all in this regard.
At this time, assistant livestock officer Dr Asaduzzaman Asad, Parvez Hossain treasurer of Bangladesh dairy farmers association Nakla upazila branch, along with other officers and employees of upazila livestock officer, other members of Bangladesh dairy farmers association Nakla upazila branch and local goats, chickens and dairy farmers, local consumers of Nakla municipal were present.
It has been learned that milk, eggs and meat have been sold at fair prices in mobile vehicles across the country from April 7.
