Awami League Advisory Council Member and 14-party alliance spokesperson Amir Hossain Amu on Friday said that 72’s constitution is recognized as the best constitution in the world.
“Those who oppose the national four principles are talking about changing the constitution. But 72’s constitution is recognized as the best constitution in the world,” he said.
He was addressing a virtual discussion organized by 14-party alliance on the occasion of Jail Killing Day, a press release said.
Amu said after assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, most of his family members and the national leaders proved that it was an evil attempt to turn the independent Bangladesh into a neo Pakistan and make the country leaderless.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasod) President Hasanul Haq Inu also addressed the discussion while Awami League (AL) Liberation War Affairs Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das conducted it.
Jatiya Party (JP) Presidium Member Ejaz Ahmed Mukta, Gono Azadi League President Advocate SK Sikder and General Secretary of the Ganatantri Party Dr Shahadat Hossain spoke, among others.
