Social worker, sports lover, education promoter and prominent businessman Mohammad Zahirul Islam has joined as a member of the advisory council of International Ethnosports Bangladesh Association (IEBA), an organization representing 42 countries of the world.
He is the managing director of Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd (Sony-Smart), the official distributor of Japanese world-famous brand Sony in Bangladesh and a leading company in the country’s electronics, and information technology sector.
Mohammad Zahirul Islam joined the organization as an advisor receiving an invitation of the president of IEBA Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan (NI Khan), who was also the personal secretary of the Prime Minister, as well as founder and general secretary of IEBA Md. Al Mamun. This business leader, who is successful in various fields, has expressed his commitment to work with utmost sincerity to spread the traditional games of different countries in the national and international arena by properly fulfilling the new responsibilities assigned to him for the development of the sports sector.

Abu Syeed Md Masud, Additional Secretary at the Secondary and Higher Education Division Abdun Noor Muhammad Al-Firoz, General Insurance Corporation Managing Director (Additional Secretary) Syed Belal Hossain, Hakkani Publishers’ Chairman Golam Mustafa, Alhaj Maqbul Hossain College Principal AFM Rezaul Hasan, Managing Director of Multinational Organization Gulf Naseem and Green Field General Trading Akbar Hossain, Managing Director of Step Media Limited Mostafa Towhid Khan, and Managing Director of Sikdar Insurance Company Limited SK Abdur Rafique Ali.
