Sinner Lover
By Sazedur Abedin Santo

The earth stands on evolution.
Before touching your eyes,
your face and your lips,
You take wing like camphor.

You remain elusive!
Beneath your blouse,
I am anxious to be a world’s citizen
By capitalizing on the state apparatus.

Breaking the shackles,
Democracy is disoriented.
Before the dictatorship
I was wounded by the bullets of state.

I am a sinner, a king of sinners.
I surrender to Death,
during drinking the water of Yam Yam.

You remain elusive, elusive forever.
I leave the earth by seeing the form of death.
