The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) has celebrated ‘Sheikh Russel Day’ amid festivity on Monday.
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has decided to celebrate the birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, on 18 October as “Sheikh Russel Day”.
As part of the program, a cake cutting and prayer ceremony, virtual discussion meeting & food distribution programme among the distressed and street children was organized at the ICB head office. Prof. Dr. Md. Kismatul Ahsan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Md. Abul Hossain, Managing Director, Mr. Md. Kamal Hossain Gazi, Deputy Managing Director, the Chief Executive Officers of the three subsidiaries of ICB, General Managers among others were present at the programme.
