Railway Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan, MP, on Thursday said that the Sirajganj Express train will be launched afresh by September 25.
“The Sirajganj-to-Bogura Santahar bypass railway line will be constructed for improved connectivity with the North Bengal,” he told a view-exchange meeting with local political leaders and stakeholders at the AKM Shamsuddin conference room here.
The Sirajganj Express train was shut down during the coronavirus pandemic.
Prof. Dr. Md. Habibe Millat Munna, MP, Md. Selim Reza, Secretary of the Ministry of Railways, Md. Shamsuzzaman, Director General of Railways, Dr. Faruk Ahmed, Acting President of District Awami League Alhaj Advocate KM Hossain Ali Hasan and Acting General Secretary Md. Abdus Samad Talukder, among others, were present o the occasion.
