The government has promoted 89 officials of administration cadre, who were performing as joint secretaries, to the rank of additional secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification today in this regard, said an official press release.
According to the Public Administration Ministry gazette, the newly promoted officials have been made officers on special duty (Additional Secretary) to the public administration ministry.
Deputy Secretary to the Public Administration Ministry ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandker signed the gazette notification.
Another notification also issued by the ministry giving promotion of two joint secretaries to the rank of additional secretary.
