The sixth anniversary of BD IT Zone was celebrated in a grand manner in Sherpur on Sunday afternoon. A consultative meeting, cake cutting and a gathering of IT entrepreneurs was held at the Orchid Tourism Project in Sherpur Municipal Town to mark the anniversary.
Recently, on the occasion of BD IT Zone’s Facebook page Blue Verify and on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of BD IT Zone, the event was concluded on Sunday evening with various arrangements including 60 percent discount on any service related to IT.
The consultative meeting- IT Point Bangladesh’s director Alamgir Hossain, DG Sign IT’s founder Khairul Ahsan Newton, Clean Up Bangladesh’s vice-president Al-Amin Raju, Channel 24 TV Sherpur correspondent Imran Hasan Rabbi, Bangla TV Sherpur correspondent Naeem Islam, Sherpur 360 degree’s admin Mehedi Hasan Sabbir, Edu Point Bangladesh’s Sherpur correspondent Nahid Islam and others spoke at the program.
The entrepreneurs of IT service organizations of different districts and upazilas, local dignitaries and journalists of different media were present.
The speakers said Bangladesh is moving ahead in the IT sector in line with the developed world. The role of youth in the IT sector is immense. If young people can develop themselves as skilled in the field of information technology, it is possible to build a developed and prosperous country very easily and quickly. The youth of Sherpur in the foothills of Garo Hills are dreaming of building a developed and prosperous country. The bright proof of this is that the BD IT zone, which started on a small scale in 2014 at its home in Kaliganj area of Sherpur district town, has received a huge response in the country and abroad in a short period of time. Many people in Sherpur have become self-sufficient through internet using technology. They have found a new way of income. They are earning while sitting in their own house. Freelance outsourcing is their new place of interest to make money through the internet.
Iftekhar Hossain Pappu, a young entrepreneur who heads the BD IT zone, said, “Our country still has ample opportunity to create its own employment in the outsourcing sector.” Using social media, it is very easy to earn money at home through marketing. He thinks that this can solve the problem of unemployment. He hopes that the BD IT Zone, which started on a small scale in 2014 at his home in Kaliganj area of Sherpur district town, will move forward with the love and cooperation of all in six years. Iftekhar Hossain Pappu, a dreamy young entrepreneur, is moving forward with the indomitable will to move forward on the ladder of success, keeping in mind the eternal message of ‘Fate is always for the hardworking and brave’.
It is learned that through this organization- the domain, hosting, web design and developing, web design of handful of TV and radio, creation of mobile apps, bulk SMS and IP phone services are being provided. In addition to these low cost services, the entrepreneurs of BD IT Zone are doing the work of re-designing the website and IT solution of any organization with a reputation.
