Nakla Upazila Awami League president of Sherpur district heroic freedom fighter Professor Mostafizur Rahman, son of late Abdul Hamid, village of Kaida under Nakla municipality of Sherpur district passed away on Monday (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun).
He breathed his last at Sherpur Sadar Hospital on Monday at 5:20 pm.
According to sources of the Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Command and the family members, funeral prayers will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am at Nakla Government Pilot High School field after paying state respects and he will be buried at Kaida Bazardi Cemetery after the Janaza prayers.
FF Professor Mostafizur Rahman was 71 years old at the time of his death. He left wife and many admirers including many grateful people.
According to the office sources of Nakla Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Command the freedom fighter Gazette List No 1039 and Lal Muktibarta List No 0114030246 of the heroic freedom fighter Professor Mostafizur Rahman. He was a professor of philosophy from the inception of Haji Jalmamud College.

All of them expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased along with their prayers for the forgiveness of the soul of the deceased.
