Murad applauses Joy’s contribution to build ‘Sonar Bangla’ of Bangabandhu

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan today lauded Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s grandson Sajeeb Wazed Joy for his unstinting cooperation to his mother Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in building the ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Bangabandhu.

“Joy is cooperating the premier in the best way to establish the ‘Sonar Bangla’ of Father of the Nation by building digital Bangladesh. He is the pride of the youths of the Bangladesh,” he said.

The state minister made the remarks while addressing a virtual discussion meeting organized by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote on the occasion of the 51st birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy.

“He has created a spark of inspiration among the youth to build a prosperous and technology-based Bangladesh” Murad said.

The state minister said leadership of Joy has initiated a positive change in the politics as well as inspired the people with great enthusiasm for the future of Bangladesh,” he added.

Murad hoped that Joy would lead the nation through politics in the days to come as he inherited qualities of Bangabandhu.

With the organization’s president Rafiqul Islam in the chair, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shameem, Awami League leader Balaram Podder and actress Tareen.
