Nakla people happy with new ambulance as gift from PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent an ambulance to ensure the health care of the people of Nakla Upazila of Sherpur District. The people of Nakla are very happy to get an ambulance as a gift from the Prime Minister.

The ambulance reached the Nakla upazila and Sherpur Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr AKM Anwarur Rauf officially inaugurated the ambulance in front of the Upazila Health Complex. The ambulance was inaugurated on a limited scale as per the instructions of the government to prevent the transmission of corona virus (Covid-19).

Upazila Health and Family Plann Officer (UHFPO) Dr Md Golam Mostafa said no one other than the civil surgeon of the district health department was invented during the inauguration to avoid public gatherings keeping in mind the corona virus.

However, senior political and administrative officials of the upazila came to see the ambulance in stages and expressed their prayers and gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangladesh Awami League presidium member and former Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury.

A new ambulance was demanded for the long life of the people of Nakla upazila. Keeping that in mind, the political guardian of Nakla-Nalitabari was given a gift by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through the personal efforts of former Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Shah Md Borhan Uddin, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zahidur Rahman, Upazila Awami League General Secretary FF Shafiqul Islam Zinnah, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mohammad Sarwar Alam Talukder, Upazila Awami League Joint Secretary and Mayor Hafizur Rahman Liton, Finance Secretary Syed Alam Monju, UHFPO Dr Md Golam Mostafa, Abul Mansur former commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Command Council, Rafiqul Islam Sohel convener of Upazila JL, leaders of upazila, municipality, union and ward AL, JL and affiliated organizations, heads of different departments of the upazila, local civil servants and various classes expressed gratitude to Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

With the help of this ambulance, it will be much easier to send the patients to the district headquarters and the capital for better treatment. So there is joy and happiness among the locals.

However, the locals think that this ambulance will add a new dimension to the medical service of Nakla. So the people are very satisfied with this special gift of the PM Sheikh Hasina.
