Ministry of Primary and Mass Education in the wake of massive surge of COVID-19 on Tuesday extended the closure of primary schools and kindergartens till July 31.
Students should stay at home to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and online education should continue during the closure, the ministry said in a press release today.
The students have to abide by the instructions and rules, issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Division, Ministry of Public Administration and Health Services Department, added the release.
Guardians have been asked to ensure stay of the students at home and the local administration will monitor the things intensively.
Headmasters of primary schools have been asked to ensure stay of all students at home and continue their studies under the supervision of the respective guardians.
