2-day-long training for farmers ends in Nakla

A two-day farmer training workshop was completed at Nakla upazila in Sherpur district on Thursday afternoon.

The training was held at the Farmers Training Room of the Upazila Agriculture Officer’s Office of the Nakla. Thirty farmers from different areas of the upazila took part in the training workshop.

The training workshop was organized by the Upazila Agriculture Office and under the project of increasing crop density in the greater Mymensingh region.

Upazila Agriculture Officer (UAE) agriculturist Abdul Wadud, Agriculture Extension Officer Agriculturist Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and agriculturist Mahmudul Hasan Musa along with trainers and 30 trainee farmers were present.

At the end of the training, 7 types of vegetable seeds and 6 types of fruit saplings including mango, lemon, guava and olive were provided to the trainee farmers.
