Another patient infected Covid -19 has been detected in Chitalmari. Mahamudul Hasan alias Shibli Fakir (45), a trader has been identified as the corona attacked patient. He tested positive for coronavirus at PCR lab test of Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Mahamudul Hasan alias Shibli Fakir’s home is in Barbaria Maijora village of the upazila.
The Upazila Administration announced lockdown of three houses including his house at 12 noon on Thursday.
Chitalmari Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Jannatul Afroz Swarna, Medical Officer Ziaul Adnan Rumel, Inspector (Investigation) of Chitalmari Police Station Md. Ikram Hossain were present to implement the lockdown.
Dr. Ziaul Adnan Rumel said that Shibli has various symptoms including pneumonia and fever. He is being provided necessary medical services. The house has been declared locked down by the Upazila Administration.
Besides, the mobile court fined two persons Tk. 1,000 for disrespecting them and obstructing government work when the assigned personnels of the health complex went to collect sample for corona test at 1pm.
