After about six months in Chitalmari Upazila of Bagerhat, a Covid has been identified in the body of a woman named Minara Begum Rekha (45).
Minara Begum Rekha is the wife of Ali Hossain, a businessman from Chitalmari Sadar Bazar. His sample was tested in the PCR lab of Khulna Medical College Hospital.
The Chitalmari Upazila administration declared the house locked down at 5pm on Tuesday (May 25). Chitalmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Liton Ali, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mamun Hasan, OC (Investigation) Md. Ikram Hossain were present at the time.
Chitalmari Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Mamun Hasan said,” Minara Begum Rekha has fever at present. He is being provided necessary medical services,” “The house has been locked down by the administration, he added.
