The monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee was held in Chitalmari at 10 am on Tuesday (May 11).
Upazila Nirbahi Officer(UNO) Md. Liton Ali presided over the meeting.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral was present as the chief guest at the monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee.
Among others Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jannatul Afroz Swarna, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Mamun Hasan, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) A.H.M. Kamruzzaman, Upazila Awami League President Md. Babul Hossain Khan, General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy, District Council Member Alhaj Mohan Ali Biswas, Upazila Awami League Vice President valiant freedom fighter Sheikh Bellal Hossain, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Sheikh Mahatabuzzaman, Women Vice Chairman Sabera Begum, Sadar UP Chairman Sheikh Nizam Uddin, Charbaniari UP Chairman Archana Baral Jharna, Santoshpur UP Chairman Beauty Akter, Kalatla UP Chairman Sikder Matiar Rahman and other heads of different departments of the upazila also were present in the meeting.
The speakers expressed satisfaction over the present law and order situation in Chitalmari and thanked the concerned.
From the meeting, they also urged everyone to abide by the health rules in dealing with the second wave of corona.
