Discussion, special prayer, Iftar held at Nakla Press Club

A special prayer, iftar and a discussion meeting were held at Nakla Press Club in Sherpur district on Friday.

The discussion meeting, special prayers and iftar were organized on the second floor of ‘Khana Pina’ fast food and restaurant of Nakla town, keeping physical distance as per the government instructions.

Press Club President Md Musharaf Hossain presided over the discussion meeting. vice-president Khandaker Jasim Uddin Mintu and Md Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Sarkar Babu, Joint Secretary Nasir Uddin and Md Delwar Hossain, organizational secretary Fazle Rabbi Rajon and Md Nur Hossain, office secretary Selim Reza, Treasurer Abdullah Al-Amin, Publicity Secretary Nahidul Islam Rijon, Information and Research Affairs Secretary Asaduzzaman Sowrav, Executive Members Talat Mahmud, Alhaj Mahbubur Rahman and Abdur Rafiq, Members M.F Zaman Farooq and A.K.M Mominul Bashar Babu spoke on the meeting.

At this time, the executive member Mosharraf Hossain Shyamal and Raisul Islam Rifat, Members Sujon Mia, Md Sumon Mia and Md Mofazzal Hossain and other members of Nakla Press Club were present.

The speakers discussed in detail what to do as a journalist to deal with the second wave of the ongoing corona virus (COVID-19). In particular, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, various decisions were taken on the basis of proposals and support on how to create public awareness as a conscious citizen to ensure physical distance as per the government’s instructions by reducing the congestion of shoppers.

Moreover, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr, everyone is called upon to stand by the helpless and poor families with help according to their ability.

After the discussion, special prayers were offered to protect the people from the second wave of Corona virus for the welfare of the nation. To commemorate this special moment and to be locked in a camera frame for a few moments, all the members of the Nakla Press Club committee took off their masks and sat at a table in front of Iftar to take part in the photo session.
