Md Musharaf Hossain of Sherpur:
Heroic freedom fighter Md Abdul Awal, son of late Abdul Karim at Kandapara in Kajaykata village under Charastadhar union in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district passed away on Saturday evening.
He breathed his last at the house of daughter’s husbend in Sailampur village of Talki union of the upazila Saturday 6:30 pm.
The funeral prayer will be held on the home of Kandapara in Kajaykata village at 11am on Sunday. FF Abdul Awal was 66 years and 9 months 27 Dayes old at the time of his death (According to the National Identity Card). He left four daughters, grandsons including many grateful people.
Nakla upazila muktijoddha sangsad command office sources said the heroic freedom fighter Md Abdul Awal’s red release list number 0114030010 and gazette list number 1081.
Family sources said, the heroic freedom fighter Abdul Awal’s son had no children and lived in the house of daughter’s husbend in Sailampur village of Talki union of the upazila. Yesterday, his eldest daughter felt sick after coming home after Janaza prayers. Later, during Iftar on Saturday, his condition suddenly deteriorated and he died before taken to hospital.
In his death, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Zahidur Rahman, upazila chairman Shah Md Burhan Uddin, FF Shafiqul Islam Zinnah GS of upazila AL, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Kawsar Ahammad, FF Nurul Islam Hero former commander of district command council, FF Abul Monsur former commander of Nakla upazila command council, Hafizur Rahman Liton mayor of Nakla municipal, Chara Ashtadhar Union Chairman FF Golam Rabbani, Md Musharaf Hossain president, Musharraf Hossain Sarker Babu GS and others members of Nakla Press Club, leaders and other members of the district and upazila FF command council, leaders of upazila AL, JL and and many leaders including its associate organizations, teachers of different educational institutions including different primary schools of the upazila and many others expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family including the mourning.
