Nakla police recovered two bodies recovered in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district on Wednesday. The deceased were Aleya Akter (6), daughter of Anwar Hossain, village of Dhanakusha, under Nakla union and Meem Akhter (12), daughter of Rafiqul Islam, village of Bausa, under Baneshwaradi union of the upazila.
Aleya Akter was crushed to death by a truck at Dhanakusha old market area on Nakla-Nalitabari road. She lived with her abandoned mother at her grandfather’s house in Dhanakusha village of Nakla union of the upazila.
Other hand, Meem was committed suicide by wrapping a scarf around his bedroom. She was a student of Bausa Dishari High School. However, it is not yet possible to know the reason behind the incident.
Mushfiqur Rahman Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nakla police station confirmed the matter. The OC said both the bodies were sent to Sherpur Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
