An emergency meeting was held on behalf of the Upazila Administration and Upazila Parishad to enforce the lockdown at Chitalmari in Bagerhat.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Upazila Nirbahi Officer(UNO) Md. Liton Ali, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jannatul Afroz Swarna, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Shariful Haque, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md. Sheikh Mahatabuzzaman, Sadar UP Chairman Alhaj Sheikh Nizam Uddin and other department heads were present at the meeting.
At this time, the Upazila Administration and the Parishad attached utmost importance to the implementation of the notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Sunday (April 4). According to the notification, the ban will be effective from 6 am on Monday (April 5) to 12 midnight on April 11. The administration gave strict instructions to implement these restrictions.
