People in Sherpur district are ready to celebrate the historic 7th March and National Children’s Day-2021 Sunday.
A preparatory virtual meeting was held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and two other events on Friday night.
The meeting was held in two stages in Nakla Upazila of Sherpur district on the initiative of ‘Nakla Youth Reporters Club.
Md Nur Hossain president of the Nakla Youth Reporters Club presided over the meeting, which was held for about 3 hours. The club was formed by the youth journalist who worked in Nakla upazila of the district.
Md Simanur Rahman Sukhan conducted the first part and Asaduzzaman Sourav, information and publicity affairs secretary was conducted over the second part of the meeting.
Among others, general secretary Md Fazle Rabbi Rajon, vice-president Nahidul Islam Rijon, office Secretary Selim Reza, education and human resource development secretary Abdullah Al-Amin and Raisul Islam Rifat executive member of the Nakla Youth Reporters Club spoke.
Adviser Khandoker Jasim Uddin Mintu correspondent at Asian Tv and Daily Khola Kagoj, Adviser Md Musharaf Hossain correspondent at daily Asian Age and Daily Alokito Bangladesh, well-wishers and many others associated with the club was linked-up the virtual meeting.
