Veteran journalist and Editor-in-charge of The Asian Age, Syed Badrul Ahsan is celebrating his birthday today (February 13).

Recently, the eminent journalist has been nominated for the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB)- ‘Sohel Samad Memorial Award 2020’ for his great contribution to editorial column writing.

Syed Badrul Ahsan is a very popular name to his present and former colleagues and surely to his pedantic readers. He has a great soul that surpasses his professional skills.

Syed Badrul Ahsan tied the knot with Syeda Zakia Ahsan on July 31 in 1978. The eminent journalist loves his home village in Araihazar Upazila of Narayanganj District in Dhaka Division, Bangladesh.

He contributes to Dhaka Courier, First News, Dhaka Tribune, Bangla Tribune, Our Time, Indian Express, Asian Affairs, and South Asia Monitor.
