Md. Kamruzzaman Khan Picklu, Chitalmari, Bagerhat:
A total of 275 women with VGD cards of Chitalmari Sadar Union of Chitalmari Upazila in Bagerhat were given 30 kgs of rice each on Saturday.
The rice was distributed from the food warehouse to the VGD card holding women in Chitalmari Bazar at noon.
Chitalmari Upazila Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Maruful Alam, Women Vice Chairman Sabera Kamal Swapna and Women’s Affairs Officer Md. Hafizur Rahman among others was present on the occasion.
