The first meeting of the Inter-religious Dialogue Center decided to help distressed and poor people in the society during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of different religions will collect funds and distribute blankets among ultra-poor people on January 22 at Inter-religious Dialogue Center, Khulna.

Father Pietanza Domenico Mimmo, SX, director of Inter-religious Dialogue Center, Khulna, said due to the COVID-19 situation, the meeting was arranged informally to take decisions for further activities.

Peaceful coexistence and practicing tolerance towards all faiths are good examples in society. Inter-religious Dialogue Center in Khulna has been working to establish fraternity towards peaceful coexistence of the people of all faiths in society.

The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman introduced Bangladesh’s foreign policy that says “Friendship towards all, malice towards none.”
