Md. Kamruzzaman Khan Picklu, Chitalmari, Bagerhat:
A mobile court on Saturday fined four people for not wearing mask, occupying sidewalks and keeping vehicles on the roadside in Chitalmari upazila in Bagerhat district.
The court of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Md. Maruful Alam has fined them Tk 4,100 in Bara Bridge area of Sadar Bazar at around 12pm.
After punishing the four, UNO Md Maruful Alam called upon all to abide by the government regulations.
He also said that masks should be worn and social distance should be maintained to deal with Covid-19.
Anyone who violates this will be brought under law, UNO added.
