Denmark Alumni Network Bangladesh (DANB) formed

Aiming to play a significant role in development of education, human resources and socio-economic sectors in Bangladesh and Denmark, the Denmark Alumni Network, Bangladesh (DANB ) has been formed in Dhaka recently.

After forming the DANB, a thirteen-member convening committee has been formed with notable personalities, said a press release on Saturday.

People, who had successfully completed their degree/diploma/training from different recognized institutions in Denmark, are the founding members of the newly-formed organization.

Dr. Mohammad Bakhtiar Rana, Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy, Aalborg University, Denmark, has been nominated as the convener of the thirteen-member ‘Convening Committee’ while Imranul Haque has been made as the member secretary of the committee.

Other members of the convening committee are– Dr. Md. Akhtar-Uz-Zaman, Dr. Seikh Razibul Islam, Rebeca Sultana, Amreen Talukder, Hasan Imam, Faisal Bin Majid, Sikder Md. Tawhid Hasan, Abdul Kaium, Mahmudul Hasan, Din Mohammad, and Rinita Rezwana.

During the inception of DANB, along with alumni, Winnie Estrup Petersen, Ambassador of Denmark in Bangladesh; Annette Kaalund-Jørgensen, Danida Fellowship Centre, Jacob Kahl Jepsen, Commercial Counselor, Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh; Søren Asbjørn Albertsen, Sector Counselor, Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh were present.
