A modern CT scan machine has been installed at the 250-bed Jamalpur General Hospital on Friday morning.
State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan, MP, inaugurated the Computerized Tomography scan (CT or CAT scan) machine at around 11 am.
CT Scan uses computers and rotating X-ray machines to create cross-sectional images of the body. These images provide more detailed information than normal X-ray images. They can show the soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones in various parts of the body.
Bangladesh Awami League Organizing Secretary and Former state Minister for Textile and Jute Mirza Azam, MP, Jamalpur Sadar MP Engineer Md Mozaffar Hossain, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Enamul Haque, Police Superintendent Md Delwar Hossain, Sadar Hospital’s deputy director Dr Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Sohan among other officials were present at the event.
Leaders of local Awami League also attended the program.
