A workshop expansion of artificial insemination including the evaluation of the related activities were held at a program at District Artificial Insemination Centre on Saturday morning in Cumilla Town Hall.
Assistant Director (A/P) Agriculturist Md Shahjaman Khan presided over the program where A K M Ariful Islam, Director extension, Department of Livestock Services (DLS), was present as the chief guest.
Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Divisional Deputy Director, DLS, Dr Bhabotosh Kanti Sarker, deputy director, artificial insemination and grass production were present as special guests.
Nasirnagar Upazila Livestock Officer Chandan Kumar Poddar anchored the event where officials of different agriculture-based offices including Md Nazrul Islam Jhontu, MD Jashim Uddin, Dr Nazrul Islam, Dr Md Bakhtiar Uddin, Dr A B M Saifuzzaman among others were also present.
Meanwhile, recently-transferred Debidwar Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Md Abdul Hakim, Kosba ULO Dr Jakir Hossain, Nabinagar ULO Dr Shamim Ahmed, and Veterinary Surgeon of Debidwar Livestock Office Dr Karna Chandra Mollick were also present at the event. Dr SM Siddique Sabuj, chief executive officer, One Farmer Company, and Md Abul Kalam Azad, president, Bangladesh Livestock A I Technician Welfare Samity also attended the program.
