State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan has inaugurated a long-awaited bridge over the Jamuna branch river at Satpoya union in Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur district on Friday at around 4 pm.
Due to the lack of a bridge, the people of Kazipur and Sarishabari upazilas had to suffer a lot. After a long time, Alhaj Dr. Murad Hassan is building a dream bridge to alleviate the suffering of the people of the neglected char areas.
During the inauguration, Satpoya Union chairman Abu Taher, former central leader of Awami League Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed, President of Upazila Juba League AKM Ashraful Islam and almost all leaders and workers of Awami League, Juba League, Krishk League and Chhatra League were present there.
