Three drug dealers arrested in Sarishabari

Police have arrested three drug dealers in Jamalpur’s Sarishabari.

They were arrested along with drugs from a paved road adjacent to Mahesh Chandra High School in Chaparkona village of Doail Union around 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

The arrestee are Siddiqur Rahman, 25, son of Abdul Gafur Miah of Chaparkona village in Doail union of Sarishabari upazila, Abdul Al Mamun, 26, son of late Ain Uddin of the same village and Rokon Mia, 31, son of Abdul Motaleb of Dakshin Para of the same village.

This group had been selling drugs in different places of the upazila for a long time. On Wednesday night, SI Ariful Islam and Shahadat Hossain raided the Chapankona area on the basis of secret information. At that time, the three drug dealers were staying on the paved road adjacent to Chaparkona Mahesh Chandra High School with 150 grams of Gaza. Police arrested them when they tried to run away after sensing the location of the police. Police sent three drug dealers to jail through on Thursday morning.
