CMP’s Sadarghat police have arrested a 22-year-old rapist named Riaz for raping a teenager.
Police said rapist Riaz, son of Hanif of Mogaltuli area, was arrested on Monday in connection with a case filed by the victim’s family at midnight on Sunday from Doublemoorning area.
Confirming the matter, investigation officer of case SI Roni Talukder of Sadarghat Police Station said that on September 16, Riaz raped a girl by keeping him trapped in a house in Pukur Par area in Sadarghat governmental area. The accused was arrested and was sent to court today.
